In this review, we picked out some of the most popular and best rated ultralight sleeping bags for camping and backpacking and tried them out. We tried to pick ones that were affordable but great value. We selected 5 of the best we found and here they are.
Ultralight Sleeping Bag Reviews
Pros: This ultralight sleeping bag is our top pick. It is comfortable, affordable, and looks nice. It is available in orange and green. This sleeping bag comes with an integrated pouch to hold your wallet, keys, or cellphone. In addition, it comes with a weatherproof portable pouch.
Cons: The survival rating is claimed to be +20 degrees. However, for comfort you will need to sleep in +50/60 degree weather. This is not recommended for winter camping.
Pros: This is a very compact and compressible sleeping bag. Furthermore, this is a cheap and reliable sleeping bag.
Cons: Some of these come from the manufacturer with some stitching issues.
Pros: This sleeping bag is very light and compressible. One of the features I love on this is that the extra zipper on the feet end. The zipper can be adjusted to help regulate the temperature.
Cons: The zipper is a little shoddy and this sleeping bag doesn’t provide a ton of warmth.
Pros: This is probably the warmest sleeping bag of the review. I’d say it could keep you warm at 15 degrees. The head cover on this is very effective at providing head warmth.
Cons: The sleeping bag is thicker than some of the other ones on here, making it more difficult to squeeze into the portable pouch.
Pros: This sleeping bag is a great price for what you’re getting. Also, it is super light and warm. The straps on this sleeping back make it very easy to pull tight to make portable. In addition, the zipper is very high quality and it doesn’t bend.
Cons: It’s a little bit on the narrow side. Some people have complaint that the stitching has come undone for them.
